Why One Bad Sofa Can Spoil the Whole Thing
Recently, I was having a discussion with one of my students about how to begin an interior design project. She said to me, “all it takes is one bad sofa or a bad coat of paint to realize that with a little know-how, you could save yourself a lot of aggravation.”
She was right. Do you start a room design where you feel most comfortable? Perhaps you’ve spent time experimenting with paint color and you know the scheme you want to use. Or you have a sofa you love but need to add other pieces to the room.
This isn't enough.
Think of interior design as a jig-saw puzzle. It takes more than the color scheme or upholstered furniture to have a successful room.
It takes a plan. And ALL the puzzle pieces…
