Our New Home Reno Series: Family Room Furnishings

I’ve been busy getting my new students settled in the course. They are doing amazing things! Today, I thought I'd share some inspiration about my own family room plans with you. 

Last time I wrote, I told you about my plan for a kitchen and family room remodel. 

Here is a quick 3D sketch of the layout to refresh your memory. I love working with SketchUp and if you let me know, I will point you to the free version so you can try it out for yourself.

Here is how the two rooms will look after we’ve remodeled the kitchen. I’ve decided to keep the loveseat near the sliding door to open the rooms up. I like a little elbow room, don’t you?
