The Best Interior Design Training for Homeowners
No more living in rooms that don't feel like you.
Learn what makes attractive home design…
…with your personal touches.
Copying a design you see on TV or social media is the fastest way to a comfortable home, right?
That’s why you buy the very same things. But when you get them home, you realize stuff doesn’t fit.
Or looks awkward. Never mind that it isn’t even a style you like.
You’re ending your day as uncomfortable as you started it.
And while you’re stressing over how to return everything, you get a message asking who’s hosting your cousin’s birthday dinner.
“Won’t be me. My house looks like a storage unit.”
Certified Interior Designer #9363, ASID, Member NKBA
Hi, I’m Debbie Talianko, a professional interior designer in southern California.
My interior design experience started with hosting an awkward dinner party.
The lighting was off.
The centerpiece was too big.
The chairs didn't fit under the table.
At that moment, I wished I had burned dinner so there would be something else to focus on.
For more than two decades, and after going back to school to learn interior design, I’ve been a practicing, certified, interior designer.
Plus, I’ve received more than 100 5-star reviews on Houzz.
I’m also a member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association, past Chair of the ASID Pasadena California Home & Kitchen Tour, and past President of the Pasadena chapter of the American Association of Interior Designers
I recently relocated with my husband to the California coastline and soon, I started noticing my new friends and neighbors were using social media and TV show advice to design their homes, only to find the look wasn't cohesive.
And some of them had spent thousands of dollars creating an impractical, mismatched home.
So I created the ‘Homeowner’s Guide to Beautiful Rooms’
…to free DIY designers from design overwhelm
My course teaches interior design with video lessons and actionable worksheets.
You’ll learn the same techniques I used when I designed rooms for businesses and homeowners across Southern California.
“My A-HA moment was when I drew the design for the bathroom and realized the hardware I chose was going to be too high for the mirror…It saved me from buying that expensive faucet.
-Julie
